I always wear my pedometer. My goal each day is 10,000 or more. I cut the grass, stroll around the yard, walk the dog, walk the hallways at work, pace while on the phone, get up and dance when I hear a good tune (at home when no one is around).
You can always think of ways to move your feet. I have lost 20 lbs in 18 months without changing my eating habits. It is a fun personal challenge.
