Best walking shoe sold by JC Penny

Hello,

I recently bought a pair of Shape Ups by Sketchers from JC Penny. After wearing them for awhile, I noticed that my left ankle felt sprained..it still is sprained. A lady I know said that she couldn't wear the shoes either. I called Pennys store to ask if I could exchange for different type of walking shoe and they said yes. I am grateful for their willingness to exchange because the shoes are expensive.
JC Penny sells New Balance, Nike Air Vitality, Ryka walking shoes. I am 55 pounds over weight and need a good comfortable supportive walking shoe. Which of the above mentioned would be the best walking shoe for Me?
