aprox 17 minute mile walk

I recently started using an app called Map My Walk that tells me my walking pace is about 3.6 for aprox a 16.49 min mile.


I love, love, love walking to Steve Aoki and Linkin Park 'A Light That Never Comes'. It has the perfect baseline for a cardio walk.

I also find Pitbull's 'Back In Time', Robin Thicke 'Blurred Lines', PCD 'I Hate This Part', Chemical Brothers w/ Ali Love 'Do It Again' and Luke Bryan 'Country Girl' all very walkable.
I routinely listen to Gaga, Kesha, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5, Backstreet Boys, Jesse McCartney, Bee Gees, and Katy Perry for walking.

I walk 4-5 days per week/2-3 miles per day. I am currently training for my second 5K. I am 47 years old and started walking to lose weight. I weigh 235 lbs and have lost 42 lbs over the last 5 months.
