April's excuse way of adding more steps

by April
(Michigan)

My way is more or less an excuse. Oops, I left that in the car let me go get it. Oh darn, I left the keys up stairs let me go get that. I can't say I intentionally leave things places, I'm rather lazy. Use to hate this but now I see how it adds to my steps.

Now I intentionally forget things knowing I'll have to go back and get them. Warning this doesn't work if you're in a hurry to meet some deadline!

**April, I love how you turned a negative into a positive! Thanks for sharing how you add more steps to your day. I'll bet there are plenty of us out there who forget something every day and don't realize that backtracking is actually adding more steps to our day.** Melissa, The Fitness Walking Guide

i love the fact you are looking for an easy excuse to go back to the car especially when you have parked further whilst at work. instead of being annoyed that you have this extra chore its used in your favour. I also offer to do something which requires extra walking for someone else that way you are being a good friend whilst increasing your number of steps.
